Made an order Dec 27 and paid extra for 2 day air shipping, after 5 days I get a response that my item must be lost in the USPS system even though tracking shows item was never picked up by USPS only a label created. Very unhappy with the service of this company. Beware of this company

Misrepresentation of Etching/Personalization

I ordered bourbon rocks glasses and pint glasses for my sons 30th birthday. Etched/personalized for the occasion.

I only received one email that one set was on the way not an email for the other set of glasses but I certainly got all the advertising in the email. When the glasses arrived the etching was so faint you could BARELY see it with the naked eye even with the dark tissue paper they place inside the glasses. I guess to "show off" their handiwork? Anyway I called (this is 1/11/21) and got a voice mail about the holidays, they hired extra staff, leave a message and I did.

I just went to their site and I "chatted" with Jess. I sent pictures of the etching and the packing slips. She apologized but said all she could do was offer 20% refund!!! I spent over $200 for USELESS glasses!

She said the etching on the website is bolder/more prominent because it is computer generated! The company misrepresents their product and does not stand behind their products! I totally understand about refunds/returns on personalized items but these are useless! Sitting on your bar you think you just have 4 glasses; nothing special to indicate a 30th birthday!

BUYER BEWARE! This company does not stand behind their product!

I placed an order online last night at midnight eastern time. I immediately realized that I got the initial in the wrong sequence when reviewing the emailed confirmation.

So, I emailed them immediately at 1 in the morning asking them to please correct it before processing my order. I received an email back at 7 am eastern time, " they are on central time" telling that it is not possible to change or cancel my order. What! So I spent 150 plus dollars on a gift they are going to process and ship that has the wrong engraving on it!!!!!

WTF unacceptable, unbelievable, terrible customer service!!!

I tried calling then even though they say thier hours are central since I recieved an email before they were open but just got a recorded voicemail saying to NOT call and email. They finally called me back same morning and refused to correct or cancel the order, I will be receiving my husband Anniversary present with the wrong initials!!!

I placed an order late at night and realized I made a mistake on the monograms. I immediately sent the company an email and called them first thing in the morning. They told me they could not find my order and that it was too late to change it, in less than 8 hours. They asked me for feedback after my order arrived and I mentioned to Orin I will never place an order with them again. Customer service was awful. They lack customer service.

Ordered 3 day shipping on the 19th so my item would arrive for Christmas. Did not receive until the 27th. Emailed customer support a few times. Blamed it on UPS... (who they hire). I would never recommend them to anyone ever again. Christmas is game time for consumers and they clearly do not have it together.

I emailed customer service and I even tried to call them. No response! Christmas is here and I've bought the gift to be presented at an office Christmas Party.

Waste of time and money

Ordered a bunch of items for the guys in my party. Two of the personalized glasses were shattered. One of the decanters had a scratch down the center of it. The personalized sign I ordered wasn't even in the box. Called customer service and told them the issue, they promised they'd fix it and it would be mailed back to me however they don't rush the replacement orders. Ordered an ammo can with the wedding date on it, the invoice clearly has the date on it and they messed that up. By far one of the worst experiences I've had with a company in a long time.

I ordered on a saturday for a gift that i needed by tuesday morning. considering i paid 22 dollars for a 2 day delivery, imagine my surprise on day 2 when my gift did not show up and also there was no way for me to track them since they did not provide a website for tracking and the customer service i pretty much out of service since nobody answers the call or the email sent to them. very disappointed. not sure how they are so quick to take people money but the services are the worst i have ever seen. never buying anything from this website and i will be sure to encourage others not to buy as well

I ordered a custom cocktail glass. Personalized name above "Classy as ***". In the photo it was a gold star not an asterisk for the "u" which I liked and thought was pretty "classy". The glass came, very well packed but I also expected it in a nice box, no, just lots of bubble wrap in a shipping carton. Not great for gift giving. Then taking the glass out, I thought it was totally blank clear glass. The etching is not legible as in the photos, it's very very light. My hope is with drink in it will be readable. I tried putting different colored tissue papers in it but you still can't really see the etching. I was also disappointed as the gold star was not there, the actual word "***" is spelled out, not so classy any more. The quality of the glass itself is nothing to speak of, it's a glass you might pay $1-$2 for. With shipping it was $29.79. I understand it was personalized but not worth the price after seeing it. I left a review on their site stating all this with my 3 star rating. They did not publish it, they have one review only up with 5 stars so don't trust the reviews.

Bad customer service

I ordered from this company a week before Father’s Day, I still have yet to receive a tracking number for my item. A week in a half later, still no tracking number. I’ve attempted to contact them via email, twice and by phone, no response. Horrible customer service! Do not order from this company!! Go elsewhere!

we received our order of monogrammed glasses in a fairly damaged box. Luckily only one glass of 16 was broken. I filed the incident with photos of the damaged box and the broken glass (thank heaven for bubble wrap!) and they sent a replacement asap! Easy and cooperative CS!!! Thanks HWB!!

We were looking for something unique for our owners and ordered two custom whiskey decanters with glasses. We submitted the artwork and they sent us a proof. We had to tweak the artwork a little bit because it was very detailed, but they turned out Fabulous. We were on a bit of a time crunch, but they went above and beyond to get our products to us in time. HomeWetBar's customer service was amazing and they were very responsive to any requests or questions we had. Our owners LOVED their gifts! I will definitely be shopping with them again and will highly recommend them to others.

TERRIBLE customer service

I submitted an order on a Sunday evening for personalized glassware. It was for an engagement present that had an incorrect date.

Following my order, I came to the realization I had submitted the incorrect date. I followed up early Monday morning (which was a holiday) with a request to change the date. I received no response for multiple hours. By the time I followed up with customer service, they informed me that the package had already been manufactured.

The manager, David B, continued to refuse to make the situation right and took no responsibility for the situation and his slow response time explaining that their policy is that they have 24 hours to respond to a service request. He then wouldn't fix the incorrect glassware. I then asked to have the order thrown away as it was being shipped to the gift recipients address. He also refused to do that.

This was the worst customer experience situation I have had to date.

DO NOT ORDER from homewetbar.com. Their inefficient response time and insensitivity to customer needs should be enough reason to take your business to any other custom glassware vendor.

I am very happy with the service and product I received . I ordered personalized whiskey glasses for the men in my family. All were done beautifully and came quickly before Christmas. The only problem I had was one glass had a crack in it despite how well they were wrapped. However, customer service responded and happily sent out a new glass. It did take customer service a long while to respond despite my having contacted them several days before the holiday, I thought or hoped that they would be able to send one out before Christmas but did not get a response until several days after Christmas which I thought was odd, but maybe things were closed down between holidays. They did respond though and as I said gladly sent out a new personalized one. My recipient received his whisky glass after everyone else but once I explained what had happened he was very happy and loved the personalized glass, as they all did. It was a very good experience overall and I will definitely order again when the need arises.

"I ordered from this company over a week before I needed the item and paid extra for 2 day delivery since I knew it would take them some time to customize my order so I wanted to make sure that I received it in time. On December 18 I received a notice that it had been mailed out, yet I never received it until December 23. What I had ordered was a Christmas gift for someone who lives out of town in which I was leaving to go visit on the 23rd but did not have time to wait around for the mailman all day. Sadly, my gift never made it in time before my 5+ hour drive, and now I have to pay to ship this to the person that it was intended to, which ended up being over $60 due to the weight and size of the package. When I contacted the company, they said that it "wasn't their fault" that the package didn't arrive in time and did not offer to pay for the postage to get the gift to the final destination. This response was of course after waiting for them to get back to me with NUMEROUS emails and feedback after 5 days. Their best that they could do is offer a 10% discount the next time I ordered with them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! 10%?! With the money that I spent with this company, I'm sure that they could afford to pay for my reshipping with that "10%" and still have a returning customer. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Unless, of course, you are ok with terrible customer service! "
